About the role

As an intern in the legal department at Quadrille, you will assist on the following tasks

  • Investments in portfolio companies/secondary transactions: providing support to investments in companies or to secondary transactions in France and abroad. Tasks include preparing term sheets, reviewing NDAs, reviewing the long form legal documentation and assisting with closing.
  • Investments in third party funds: providing support to investments in funds managed by third-party asset managers and overseeing the legal aspects of these funds, including reviewing fund LPAs (Limited Partnership Agreements), consent or waiver requests, and reviewing subscription forms prepared by the Finance team
  • Fundraising: participating to the fundraising of new funds managed by Quadrille Capital, including support to the negotiations of LPAs, side letters, and subscription forms with investors
  • Monitoring the funds under management: supporting legal matters relating to the funds under management, such as LPs consultation, organizing LPACs (Limited Partner Advisory Committees.
  • Financing: providing support to the financing transactions such as equity bridge financing or NAV-based financing
  • Contracts: reviewing various contracts in relation to the management of the funds (operating partners agreements, consultancy agreements, etc).
  • Corporate: supporting, in collaboration with the General Counsel and external lawyers, the corporate formalities of the Quadrille group companies, such as annual account approvals and dividend distributions.
  • Cross-functional projects: participating in transversal projects such as knowledge management, team training for the Investment team and developing best practices.

·                 You will work with the General Counsel, and you will interact with the Investment, Investor Relations, Finance, and Compliance teams at Quadrille Capital, external law firms, as well as LPs (Limited Partners) and portfolio companies.

About you

You have the following experience and hard skills:

·       You are currently enrolled in Master 1 or Master 2 or you are a trainee lawyer in corporate law, business law and/or financial law

·       You have at least 6 months of experience within a company and/or a law firm.

·       You have excellent writing skills, with full professional proficiency in French and a strong command of operational and legal English

·       You are proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
